CheckMyPlace is an app that helps Italian students secure safe, verified housing in Lisbon through a network of trusted local “helpers.” These vetted locals visit properties in person, share real-time updates, and give honest feedback, cutting through scams and uncertainty.

Born from real insights into the challenges of studying abroad, the app blends housing support with cultural integration, ensuring students don’t just find a place but land smoothly in a new city. Initially focused on a hyper-specific market (Italians in Lisbon) to validate the model, it’s designed for easy expansion across Europe.

I led market research, concept design, branding, and communication strategy, combining analytical rigor with creative execution.
